| There are two groups of students, to some extent overlapping each other, who should undertake the IB Diploma. Those who need it for entrance to the universities of their choice, and those students, both academically able and academically motivated, who want to undertake a challenging course of study. Students do not need to have done outstanding work to consider beginning the Diploma. They must, however, be willing to work hard, and be able to organize their time effectively. Students who are considering the program should speak to their teachers if they have any questions about the appropriateness of the program for them. Students who choose not to undertake the IB Diploma are encouraged to take IB certificates in subjects for which they are qualified. |
