Beginning Friday, May 30th, the Friday Flash will be presented and delivered in a different manner. On the 30th we will return to giving a hard-copy of the Flash to the student who is the youngest student of the family. This copy, however, will consist of one double-sided page that will focus on calendar dates, reminders and important announcements – information that is most important to you. We will also include some color photos and once in awhile a short article or two. The single sheets will help us address our environmental concerns. In an effort to fulfil three needs: 1) high quality communication; 2) environmentally friendly practices; 3) appealing, high interest publications, we trust these changes will be well received by the entire community.
Next year, our intent is to double the number of Hornbill issues published in hard-copy form to the community. Presently, the Hornbill is published three times a year in November, March and June. Beginning next year, the magazine will be produced three times a semester with the hope of enhancing communication and offering a highly appealing format that will include many articles as well as color photography. The Hornbill issues will also be posted on the website.
As part of the typical 3-day “Open House” format, ISKL welcomes alumni to host a reception at their home
similar to last year’s San Fran. event.
