Bee Ai Lee '06 reports that she is enjoying Purdue. She is home for the summer.

Sendhuran Govindan ’98, partner in Kaniva Connections a consulting firm located in Singapore, was in Kuala Lumpur recently to interview for a master’s program in the United States. It was the first time for Sendhuran to visit the school since his graduation and he is also attending the Singapore Alumni Dinner on April 22.

Zaim Zainal ’04  is studying Chinese and Japanese in the United Kingdom while also concentrating on  mechanical engineering.

Alex Knott ’05 and his sister, Sabrina ’03 recently visited the school. Alex finished his compulsory military service and his sister is part of the hotel service industry.

Gary McElroy, and his wife, Carol, were recently in KL. They report that their son, Mark ‘97, will be joining the international teaching circuit in August in China.

Ana Agregado ’02 recently graduated from university in Manila with a degree in Communication Arts. She is contemplating her next move: perhaps more school, perhaps work experience.

Sonia Bawden ’86 and her two children are exploring an ISKL yearbook. Sonia and her husband, Darren, are working at the Home Of Love Orphanage in Bangladesh.  The will return to their home in Honolulu at the end of the year.

The Alaimo Family visited KL as part of Claire’s ’94 honeymoon in Langkawi. She is seen here with her parents and brother, Matthew ’92 who is employed in the finance sector.

Recently,  Vin Ram ’99  helped judge at the ALL ISKL Debate Tournament during February. As former debate participant, his expertise is most welcome.

Danielle Butler and Kimbery Giles recently visited the school.

Min Jin Suh ’05 is currently on break before heading back to Korea University to study communications.

Former students, Meghan Kamlowski ’03 is currently in her final year at West Virginia and Patrick Van Lavieren ’01, who is studying hotel management, is seen here visiting with Gary Peich, IB coordinator and alumni parent of Chris ’06 and Claire ‘02.

Perry Loh '96 and Nordin Abudulla '95 are seen here with Coach Mike Larios.  They were able to spend time reminiscing about the basketball championships during the 1990’s.

Hitomni Aono ’01 and Hiroko Akimoto ’01 stopped by for a visit. Hitomni is working in Singapore for an export company and Hiroko, who also attending the Tokyo reunion last October, is working in Japan.  Hiroko reports that she would like to work overseas.

Heather Semon ’01 and two friends visited ISKL during their break from teaching English in a public school in Shenzehn, China. While their travel plans include Cambodia and Thailand, Heather made sure they stopped in KL to see her alma mater.

Shuang Shuang Foo ’01 is seen here with Ginney Biberich current faculty member and alumni parent of Chad '03, Jessey '03 and Casey '01 and Toni Mullen, alumni parent of Jin '05 and Tod '06.   After working two years in New York City in the fashion industry, she is looking for employment opportunities in China.
Tod Mullen '06, who is studying at Texas State University in San Marcos and Danny Hassan '03, who is studying in Australia, participated in several rugby games during the semester break.
Gaele Olivers '02 recently graduated from univeristy in England andis now living and working in Kuala Lumpur.

Doogie Benjamin '97 is seen here with his close traveling companion. They stopped in KL for a visit after attending a wedding in Cambodia. Doogie is currently working in the Middle East.
Jessica Tipton '04 recently graduated from London's Perfomers' University and will be dancing on the Brit Music Awards in February. She is also a hair model for Tony & Guy, a well known hair salon in London.
Lucas De Paiva ’05 will be spending the next month south of Bejing in Yan Tai in train with Shaolin monks in the martial arts and meditation.  He is on a three month break from his university in Rio Di Janeiro.

Min Shik Kim ‘04 is currently studying medicine in Melbourne. He reports that he sees Annie Tan ’04 on a regular basis. After a few years with roommates, he is planning to set up his own apartment.

Even though they were only here for a short stay, Sebrina Vogt ’96 and her guest, Rudy, visited the campus with Eliza Leong, former MS science teacher, and Sumi Sundram ’96, daughter of Saras, former ES teacher.  Sebrina is currently a MS social studies teacher at ISM, Rudy coaches elementary boys soccer, Eliza is enjoying retirement and Sumi is working for the United Nations in Kuala Lumpur.

Audrey  Desiderato ’01, sister of Shirley ’07,  has returned to KL and is looking to become involved in an NGO organization.
Sophie Tyro ’02 is currently living in New Zealand and has just graduated from a teaching university.
Katrine Tenhaaf ’84 and her sister, Antje ’84  visited the school during the time in Malaysia. This was their first trip back since the 80’s.
Estelle Choong ’96 is in transition from Scotland to Singapore as she is studying to be a doctor specializing in rheumatology.  Estelle reports that is she is still in contact with several alumni from her class and expects to be attending the December 22 reception.
Terri Goh, former HS science teacher, is visiting this month from her new home in Queensland. She reports that Edward ’05 is currently working after graduating from Griffiths College and Mark ’06 is attending a month-long “Jazz Works” workshop before entering university.

The “Turtle Rocks’ fundraiser brought many visitors to ISKL this past weekend. The day was filled with music, environmental learning centers and an invitational rugby tournament involving four schools.  Several alumni played for the day:  Kalid Kayoon, ’00, Shakeil  Bashir ’04 and Juhani Majanen ‘01. Kalid was recently scouted to coach Varsity rugby with Michael O' for the upcoming IASAS tournament in late January.
Alumni parents, Margaret Tuite (Tom ’05) and Mr. and Mrs. Perez Cervantes (Marcus ’05) were in the stands rooting for ISKL.
Mrs. Corrie Recter,  former MS science teacher, with Shauna Larios, also an alumni and current teacher with Leisbet Rector, class of 85 and “Athlete of the Year” recipient. Leisbet also teaches MS physical education.
Marcus Perez Cervantes '05 returned for a short visit from his studies in Georgia. He is planning to visit Mexico with his family for the remainder of the vacation .

Luigi Alli ’05 was a recent visitor to the campus. He is currently studying in Manila and involved in a business, “Fishball Productions”,  promoting small bands via a venue similar to ISKL’s Battle of the Bands.
Erna Takala ’06 was in town recently and has returned to Findland where she is waiting to enter university.  She misses her friends, food and ISKL.  She will intern at a construction company and continue work in a restaurant in Finland for several weeks before starting school.
Ann-Marie Tan ’03 is currently working for the IB office for several months during her break from university in Melbourne and her brother, David, ’06 just returned from Australia for the semester break.
Pablo Neporozhnev ‘03 is switching his major from psychology to business management at the University of Brisbane.  He occasionally connects with Aaron Weller ’02 and Ngari Tjejamba ‘04 who is attending university in Perth.
Mary Bisset, former faculty and alumni parent, Ben ’02 and Angela ’05, recently visited ISKL and reports that all is well in Singapore.  Mr. Bisset was on a basketball trip to Hong Kong.
Laura Vinha ’96 and her brother, Jari ’98, recently visited campus during their holiday.  Laura is currently working as a communications officer for the United Nations in Hanoi and Jari is working for an import company in Finland. They remember several of their teachers: Mrs. Tan, Mrs. Kairudden and Karen Palko.
Beatrix Phanga ’00 and her sister, Rachael ’99 stopped by the Alumni office with classmate, Michelle Manigart ’99 to reminisce about their time at ISKL. Beatrix is working for an IT company and Rachael is involved with a financial analysis firm. They reside in the United Kingdom. Michelle,  who resides in Kuala Lumpur, is the regional manager for Belovo, a Belgium food company.
Kavita Nanda ’84 was a recent visitor to the campus as she was in town for OBGYN conference held in Kuala Lumpur.  As a track participant, Thespian and member of NHS, she fondly remembers her days at ISKL  She is currently living in the DC area and is married to a cardiologist.
Dan Leong ’88 and his mother, Elsa, who retired in ’00, recently stopped by for a short visit.  Dan is currently working in the US and has just returned from a 10-day visit to Beijing with his parents.  Dan is still in touch with Kahlil Salgado ’82. Elsa is enjoying retirement by traveling and participating in an IKSL book club.
Marlene Belli ‘01, Ken Ogura ‘02  and Maria Ramli '01 with Toni Mullen, Dir. of Alumni Affairs, during their recent visit.  Marlene just graduated from uni in England, Ken is working in landscape design with his father and Maria is currently attending a dance academy.
Dave Kenny ’74 recently visited the campus from his home in Indonesia where he has been living for the|past 17 years. He is anxious to see many more of his classmates during their upcoming trip to Malaysia in 2009.
Recently, the Noguchi family visited Eric Richardson in the Athletic & Activities office. Kimihiro ’03 and Mamiko ’06 are currently studying in Canada and Masahiro '08 ito Japan to continue his studies.
